Almost ready

I am collecting information for parts B and C from all possible partners and will send the completed papers to all of you on Tuesday, 22 February 2005. We are probably nine (9) different institutions in this Weblog project (Finland, Luxembourg, Portugal, Latvia, Poland, 2 from Canary Islands and 2 from Slovakia).

All you have to do is write your own parts A and D, which will be different for all of us. Part D 2 depends on the travelling and subsistence costs from your country to Luxembourg and to Las Palmas. D 1 is also different for all of us; it depends on what you in your own institution need (language training, copying, cameras, scanner, translation, etc.) If you need any help with it, contact your National Agency - they are there to help you with filling in the details.

One institution is still missing; if I don't get their information by Tuesday we will be 8. We just cannot wait any longer. Remember that you have to send the application (all parts A-D) by 1 March to your NA. Parts B and C must be exactly the same, so when you get them from me, please do not change anything.

Our NA asked us to explain in our application what is a weblog and how we are going to work with it. Here is the text I added in our part A.2:

*Weblog is a so-called Internet diary where people can write about anything. Ready platforms like Blogger (used in our project) give the chance to publish your thoughts so that others can read it just in minutes and make comments on what you have written. First we, as trainers create our own blog in order to practise and see how the system works. Then we will be using team blogs in each country (everyone else will have access to see the procedure during the whole period of the course) and at the end we will combine all partners’ writings and publish the best stories in a booklet.
